Home - Arrange

The Home tab includes a group called Arrange that contains commands for rotating or aligning fields.

Rotation

One or more selected fields can be rotated in 90 degree increments. Fields are always rotated about their anchor point.

Rotate Left Rotate the selected field(s) 90 degrees counter-clockwise.

Rotate Right Rotate the selected field(s) 90 degrees clockwise.

Alignment

When arranging multiple fields on a tag layout you may want to make them all line up along an imaginary edge, giving your layout a professional appearance. While the designer has other ways to make fields line up properly, including the grid and its snap-to feature, the alignment tools on the ribbon are the most useful.

Align Top Align the selected fields to the top edge of the top-most field.

Align Left Align the selected fields to the left edge of the left-most field.

Align Middle Align the selected fields to the vertical middle of the fields.

Align Center Align the selected fields to the horizontal center of the fields.

Align Bottom Align the selected fields to the bottom of the bottom-most field.

Align Right Align the selected fields to the right edge of the right-most field.

Note that the alignment commands (Top, Left, Middle, Center, Bottom and Right) are only enabled when more than one field is selected.
