 The
Ellipse tool is used to add an ellipse field to the layout. A layout may have
an unlimited number of ellipse fields. Once the field is added to the layout,
you use the Properties Editor to change the field's properties.
Height The height of the rectangular area that defines the ellipse in inches or millimeters. Width The width of the recangular area that defines the ellipse. Thickness The thickness is the width of the line segments that define the ellipse, in pixels. One pixel is the diameter of the laser spot and is dependant upon printer model. Filled You may fill (true) the ellipse so that it prints a solid rectangular region. Reverse You may reverse (true) any other field enclosed by the ellipse, turning black into white, white into black. Note that only fields that are drawn before the ellipse are reversed. You can change the order that fields are drawn by dragging the fields in the Layout Field List. Hidden You may hide (true) or display (false) the ellipse . Hidden ellipses appear in the designer, but are not printed. X The X coordinate of the lower left corner of the ellipse . This field was initially filled in for you based on where you clicked the mouse. Y The Y coordinate of the lower left corner of the ellipse . This field was initially filled in for you based on where you clicked the mouse. |
